What is the Periodic Table of Hangul?
Periodic Table of Hangul is a chart that simplifies the way of learning Hangul, which is the Korean writing system, on one sheet of paper.
Is the Periodic Table of Hangul periodic?
No. Its layout is a design parody of the traditional Periodic Table of the Elements.
Why did you use the periodic table for the layout?
Though it does not exactly match the traditional meaning of the periodic table, I felt that the concept of chemistry elements, which are grouped and arranged in the periodic table, is similar to how Jamo (Hangul alphabet) are grouped in the Hangul writing system. Furthermore, it helps to explain how each Hangul script is written. Mimicking the layout of the traditional Periodic Table of the Elements can help to organize the simple logic of building Hangul syllables in a visually pleasing presentation.
Is the design to promote Hangul?
No. It is like any other language materials that teach a language or alphabets. It's a personal design project, so it does not promote any language or country.
The main purpose of this design is to provide an easy way to learn Hangul. Nothing else.
Is the design/wallpaper for the public good?
No. This wallpaper is like any of my designs and services that I sell as a graphic designer.
Is the wallpaper free?
The wallpaper is free only for personal screen viewing purposes. No copies, reproductions, modifications, inclusions in any document, distributions or use as a teaching material are allowed for any reason. There are no exceptions.
If anybody would like to use the design/wallpaper for other than personal screen viewing purposes, please purchase the prints or appropriate license.
Where can I download the wallpaper?
Sorry, download period has expired.
You can see partial details of the design at shop.aboutletters.com.
Can I upload the wallpaper to my blog/website ?
Owing to the fact that many blogs/articles failed to provide correct information of the design, it caused much misunderstanding about the use of the wallpaper. Therefore, I do not allow any website to distribute/post the full size wallpaper .
You may show a reduced size of the design less than 600 pixels wide, but please provide the copyright information and the link to this page for more information.
Are there differences between the prints and the wallpaper?
Yes. There is more detailed information on the prints regarding numbering and descriptions. Most important, there were some errors on the wallpaper. The errors were corrected in the prints.
What size is the print?
24 in. x 16 in. (60.96 cm x 40.64 cm)

It depends on where you are located. If you reside in the US, it will take 3-5 business days from the shipping date. For international delivery, the packages will leave the US in about a week from the shipping date. For neighbor countries like Canada and Mexico, it may take 1-2 weeks for delivery from the shipping date.
Is there any other place to buy the prints?

Who needs to purchase a license?
